    I love your question Vera. I actually had training on positive affirmations in previous employment that I had. It was interesting how they approached the subject. I have heard two different ways of doing them and they both involved a mirror.

    Approach one (I call the heavy approach) is to state something that you strive to be and or do. So if you had self-perception issues an example would be: I love you, you are amazing. While looking at yourself in the mirror.

    Approach two (I call the stepping stones approach) is for those who can not really just do the first approach. You would start with something smaller. For example, I can make a difference today. Then when it is believable you would choose a higher one, I am important to others. Etc.
